The staff were amazing and made you feel so welcome. They waited on us hand and foot, and the food....out of this world!!! Pool was nice, very relaxing. And the views over the countryside and mountains were outstanding. We were in Spain for a wedding and the staff looked after the wedding catering too!! Yum!!!!
Only low point is it's location next to the main road, but you soon got used to it!

Felt extremely at home. Always able to grab a late night dinner in the garden when returning from either Cordoba/Granada or Sevilla later in the evening. Pool is very nicely located in a sort of vineyard a small walk away from the outdoor eating area with nice sunbeds. The hotel is a nice jumping board for daytrips to one of the 4 surrounding big cities of Andalusia but every night feeling very nice to come back 'home' again to start, after a nice sleep, a new day with a nice breakfast in the nice garden...and my weekend continued.....

From the friendly welcome on arrival, and roaring fire in reception to the lovely rustic room overlooking the countryside, the hotel was perfect for our short stay. The food was the best we had in Spain and not unreasonably priced for the superb quality. The extra price paid for continential breakfast was well worth the cost given the large variety and quantity provided. The husband and wife couple even provided some special touches on learning it was my "milepost" birthday. I would unreservedly recommend using ths hotel as base to explore this part of Andalucia. On reflection we wished we had had the whole of our break booked in here.
There was nothing not to like, the only comment is that the total tranquility of the countryside is interupted when sitting in the grounds, by the occasional car passing on the main road next to the hotel.

Very quiet and friendly atmosphere. We used it to walk in the nearby hills and this hotel was just the ticket. Price was good, food was good and the staff friendly. There are only 8 rooms and we were the only ones there at the time occupying 2 of these. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend.

Although described as 'rural' the hotel was easy to find. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, as was the en suite shower room. We ate dinner at the hotel and found the food excellent. All staff were very pleasant and attentive.
